Add a watermark

Enhance the security of confidential files by adding a watermark to a document

  1. Upload or open your document
  2. Click on the 3 dots (...) in the top-right corner

  3. Click on Access

  4. Go to Rules and find the Add watermark option at the bottom. Toggle on so that the button is blue instead of grey.

  5. A watermark should now display across the document which can be removed at any time by following the same steps and toggling off the Add watermark button.

Why should I add a watermark?

Watermarks are a valuable tool in  you can deter unauthorized sharing or copying of sensitive information. They act as a visible indicator that the document is confidential and should be handled with care.

If a confidential document is leaked or compromised, the watermark can help identify the person responsible for the breach. This not only aids in preventing future incidents but also helps in holding individuals accountable for their actions.
