Customize your Notifications

Update and customize your personal notification preferences

Click on your name in the lower left-hand corner and then select My settings
Select Notifications in the pop-up window
From there, you can toggle the Blue On / Off Button to turn on or off all platform notifications. And you can expand on options for "Announcement Comments & Reactions" as well as "Chat"

Note:
Platform or space owners and those who create content such as announcements can still choose to force important notifications to your account outside of preferred notification settings on a case-by-case basis

To customize notifications related to announcements, select the down arrow next to "Announcement Comments & Reactions." From there, you can choose whether or not you receive notification updates for posts you create or interact with, and whether or not you receive them via "Push" or "Email." Don't forget to select Save to update your preferences.

Note:
A "Push" or "Push Notification" is an alert sent by the Trusted Family 2 (TF2) app and will only received on devices where the app is downloaded and where you have signed in. This is not the same as a text message.

To customize notifications related to chat, select the down arrow next to "Chat." From there, you can choose whether to receive chat notifications via push, email (once every 24 hours), or never if you don't select either option. Don't forget to select Save to update your preferences.

Tip:

If you want to mute messages in a specific chat channel only, you can do so by selecting the bell button from the chat module within a specific chat thread. This way you don't miss important messages in all of your chat threads.
