      Delete members from the family tree

      Learn how to delete members from your family tree.

      1. In your space, navigate to the menu on the top and click on Family Tree. 

      2. Select the member you wish to remove from the family tree. This action will prompt a pop-up window to appear on the right side of your screen. Then, click on the three dots (...).

      3. Choose the option to Delete. 

      4. A confirmation window will then appear, where you must select Remove to finalize the action.

      Pro tip:
      If a family member passed away, we suggest to add a life event "deceased" instead of removing from the family tree. You can also delete their profile and "unlink" them from the family tree entry if desired.

      Note:

      Removing someone from the family tree does not delete their account on the platform if they have one.
