How to disable the downloading of a file

You can choose to disable downloads for any given file

  1. Go to the Files module where the document you wish to prevent from being downloaded is stored, and locate the file.

  2. Then click on the 3 horizontal dots "..." to view the drop-down menu, and click on the Access & Rules button

  3. Enable the Prevent download button to disable downloads on the desired file. Now, users will not have the option to download the document.
