Set up your own domain

Follow the simple steps below to forward your own domain to your platform

1. Log in to Your Domain Provider Account

Visit the website of your domain provider (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google Domains, etc.) & use your login credentials to access your account.

2. Access Your Domain Settings

Once logged in, navigate to the section where you manage your domain settings. This might be labeled as "Domain Management", "DNS Settings", or "Domain Forwarding".

3. Locate the Domain Forwarding Section

Look for an option such as "Forwarding" or "URL Redirect" within the domain settings or DNS management area.

4. Set Up Domain Forwarding to "customer.trustedfamily.com"

In the forwarding section, enter the destination domain "customer.trustedfamily.com"

5. Select the Forwarding Type

Permanent (301 Redirect): Choose this option for a permanent redirect. This is recommended for SEO and ensures that search engines recognize the new destination as the official location.

Temporary (302 Redirect): Use this only if the forwarding is temporary. A permanent redirect is usually preferred.

6. Save Your Changes

After entering the necessary details, save your changes.

Note: the changes may take some time to propagate across the internet—anywhere from a few minutes to 24 hours.

7. Test Your Domain Forwarding

Once the changes have been made, test your domain by visiting it in a web browser. It should redirect visitors to "customer.trustedfamily.com" automatically.
