How to share external links

A few clicks away from sharing interesting external content

There are 3 different ways to share links from outside our platform with everyone; depending of the context, you might prefer a specific format.

1. Through an announcement on the homepage

1. Click on the plus + button to create a new announcement and select the Space where you want to share the link with.

Two options here;

2.a Write a little note to describe what you're sharing, highlight the text, and click on Link and then on Add link then paste your link

2.b Paste your link in the text box and select Create Link Card

3. Finally, click on Create to make it appear on the newsfeed for everyone. Here's how it will display depending on the option you chose: 

2. Through a Shortcut

1. Click on the plus + button to add a new Shortcut on the top bar 

2. Give it a Title, paste the external (or internal) Link and choose a cover image.

3. After hitting Create, this is how it will display: 

3. Through a document

The ideal solution when you compile links or create a knowledge base

1. Go to the Files module of the Space you'd like to share the link in. 

2. Click on the Plus + button and then create a document.

3. Copy and paste your link directly into the document or click on the plus + button and choose Create Link Card 

4. Past your URL and hit Save. You're now ready to publish your link(s)
