Turn a family tree entry into a full profile (such as an ancestor or a child)

You can create a full profile for anyone on your family tree, even if they won't be using the platform. Profiles include detailed information, a spot in the member directory, and birthday reminders on the calendar. Follow these steps to get started.

1. Navigate to the family tree and find the family member you wish to create a profile for.

2. After selecting the profile, a pop-up window will display on the right side of the screen. Click on the "..." icon and choose the link member option from the menu.

3. Enter the name of the family member and click the "+" sign to create the profile. 

Copy of Guidelines TF2 Helpcenter (68)4. Now the profile has been created and linked. To customize the profile and determine which space directories the user will show, click on the hyperlinked name and then the view user icon.

5. Here, you can add a profile picture and about information. Click the '...' menu to edit the profile or manage spaces. From there, you can add them to any spaces where you'd like the member to show up in the directory.

Congratulations! Your family tree member is now in the directory for the spaces you chose!
