Two-Factor Authentication & Session length

Customize your platform’s login experience to strike the right balance between strong security and seamless access.

  1. Go to Organization settings in the lower left hand corner of the menu bar

  2. Navigate to Password and Authentication and choose your preferred Two-Factor Authentication configuration for your regular Members:
    1. Enforce 2FA
    2. Not Enforced.

3.  Under Session Security, you'll be able to determine the length of the session before your regular  members need to login (authenticate) again.

  3. Most secure

4.  Scroll further down to select your preferred Two-Factor Authentication configuration for your Sensitive accounts. Sensitive accounts include: Owners, Space Owners and Vault Managers.
    1. Enforce 2FA
    2. Not Enforced.

5. Here too, determine the length of the session before your members with sensitive Accounts will need to login (authenticate) again under  Session Security.

    1. Basic
    2. Balanced
    3. Most secure

6. Hit Save Settings at the bottom - you're all set!

 

Note: Once you have chosen to turn on two-factor authentication, users will be prompted to either setup via text message or an app the next time they login to the platform.

Caution: 

  1. Once 2FA is turned on, all members covered by the enforcement will need to set it up before using the platform again.
  2. If the enforcement is then turned off, all users who set it up will have to personally turn it off for their account.
