      Create a Bridge to an External File

      "Bridges" is our solution to integrating with other storage systems currently including Google Drive, Microsoft One & Dropbox. When you create a Bridge, you can view and edit it in real-time without ever leaving the Trusted Family platform.

      1. Choose the Space where you want to add the file
      2. Click on Files

      3. Click on the + button and then select Add bridge

      4. From there, paste the link of your external File into the field for Link. In this example, we are using a Google Drive file, but the same steps can be followed for Microsoft One Drive and Dropbox.
      5. Then choose a Name for the file to be displayed on the Trusted Family site and click Create

      6. You are done! The file is uploaded and will have the Google Drive logo ahead of it to signal that it is external, or the corresponding logo of whatever relevant system.

      Note: When creating a Bridge to an external system, make sure that it is also shared with or accessible by the correct people. For example, you might want to make sure that a file shared within the Trusted Family site has Share settings in the external system set for anyone with the link to view or invite the specific individuals only depending on security level of the file.
