Upload into Folders in Multiple Vaults at Once

Easily upload into folders inside the vaults of multiple users in one distribution

1. Start by going to Vault Manager and creating a distribution — uploading your files and auto-assigning them to vaults as described in this article

2. Once your files are attributed, click the checkbox to the left of Uploads and then Select destination in the right hand sidebar to open the folder picker.

3. In the pop up window, choose where the files will land in each assigned vault:
  • Search for an existing folder using the Search folders... bar.
  • Click a folder name to drill into it.
  • Click + New folder, type a name, then hit the checkmark to create one.

Tip: You can nest folders by creating one, selecting it to progress, and creating another inside (e.g. K-1s > 2025)

4. Once your destination is set, hit Select at the bottom of the pop up window. The folder path now appears under Destination in the right hand sidebar.

5. You can complete the distribution by clicking Start Distribution. If you are distributing many files at once, you might need to scroll down to find it.

6. Finalize by selecting Distribute Now to confirm the uploads and send all files to their designated vaults & folders.

Note: The selected destination is applied to every assigned vault. Folders that don't exist in a vault will be created automatically. So if John Doe already has a folder for K-1s but Mary Jane doesn't, you can still select the folder K-1s that it appears and it will automatically create one for Mary Jane.

Pro tip: Use nested folders to keep yearly tax documents, board materials, or shareholder reports neatly organized across all recipient vaults — without having to set up the folder structure inside each vault first.
