Automatically update mobile apps

Updating your apps gives you access to the latest features and improves app security and stability. To ensure you have the latest updates when they become available, set your mobile device to automatically update apps.

iOS instructions

• On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, go to Settings 
• [your name]
• iTunes & App Store
• Then turn on App Updates

Android instructions

• Open the Google Play Store app 
• Tap Menu   Settings
• Tap Auto-update apps
• Select an option:
  • Over any network to update apps using either Wi-Fi or mobile data
  • Over Wi-Fi only to update apps only when connected to Wi-Fi
